White Mountains Camping Weekend: Come Join Us!
We are inviting all who are interested to join us for a weekend of camping and hiking in the White Moutains of New Hampshire. We have reserved a site at the Dry River Campground in Crawford Notch State Park from Thursday July 30th through to Sunday August 2, 2009. Reserve a site for the weekend, or just join us for a day, whatever works best for you!
This location has been hand-picked by us. We have been there and can say without a doubt that it is absolutely beautiful with lots to do for all ages and abilities. The campground is nice and includes flush toilets and hot showers.
There are still quite a few sites left (as of this writing), you can see what is available and reserve online by going here. If you decide to book a site, we will be in site 8, maybe you can get one close to us!
In case you may be concerned, you do NOT need to be a hard-core hiker or camper in order to join us. We want this to be a fun weekend for anyone who wants to come. Hiking and activities will be planned according to the level people are comfortable with. If you are new to this and need some help figuring out how to plan for something like this, let us know, we would be more than happy to help out.

White Mountain Memories
I grew up in the eastern townships of Quebec. Our family spent plenty of time hiking, backpacking and camping in the White Mountain. Now with my own family with two young boys, I would love to get them up there to have the same experience. We live in Florida now so it can't happen frequently. Our outdoor experiences here in Florida involve canoeing, camping and some hiking.
